Words.

draining, the passion
as it seeps from your soul
degrading, the compassion
you find it so dull

words can mean the world, if you want them to
significance, astray, un furled, seeing if their true

like lightning, here, then gone
they're the setting sun, morning, then dawn

your wake up call
your sweet goodnight
your lunch-time break
in the bright noon light

the comforting sway
in your hips when you're happy
the sound to break the day
when you're told to make it snappy

the constant reminder
that someone cares
the forever reminder
that your heart still tears

words are the shake
in your hands when you're scared

the crack in your voice
when you're nervous, unprepared

the secret that you kept
the truth from them, you spared

words are the blindfold
leaving you impaired

they kill
they cut
they scream
they gut

they wonder
they wreak
they want
they shriek

they are scripture
they are discussion
they are intelligence
they are percussion

the addiction
you crave to hate
the curvy road
you try to make straight

the essence to create
more than that,
they are fate

history in the making
as soon as they are spoke
the potential words contain
in nothing of a joke

sticks and stone
what a malefactor
it only applies
if you're a good actor

words can pierce the strongest heart
words are like a throwing dart
words can pull us together, apart
words distract us, from the most perfect art

control our deeps thought
persuade our inner being
leave us distraught
leave us disagreeing

weather full of passion
or passion less
filled with substance
or meaning less

the largest lie
or there to confess
there to save us
or continue distress

words are reason
words are grief
words are treason
words are relief

Just Like Me.

half the fun
is to plan the plan

we leave it where we started
and pick it back up again

the wonder of why
consumes us to die

if only i could fly

have a birds eye view
one foot in your shoe

the other on familiar ground
so i can turn around

when danger calls
i count my falls

rack my head, on hollow walls

it's all cowardice
accept this

you dont share
you're to scared

that's not bravery
you're pathetic, see

you're just like me

Komputer Kid

crowded classroom
humming and shaking
tech-inclined
like a nervous student
waiting for the test results
will he pass?
toes tapping
like the clickety clackaty
of the keyboard
it is constant
he gets his paper...
marked with an A
his eyes are now transparent
you can see the joy,
that fills his world
his mother puts it on the fridge
like a newly posted blog
she wants everyone to see
they play music
and dance around
its as if they are computers
they are modern
they are advanced
they are ready

If Hate Meant Love

so..invading
you think you're important.
but you never were

stand up, so you can stir
the pain
you inflict..

you're such a..prick..
charming in your ways
so vain

you're reign
long lived
it's welcome

caught numb
sigh, in your presence
laugh at your back

i hate you more
then white hates black
more than then the daughter
hates the dad
when he says no
when it comes to chad

more than the bike
hates the fat rider
more than the fly
hates the spider

more than the wife
that hates the husband
that cheats
she's a 'has been'

more than god
hates our sin
more than a winner
hates to not win

more than the step son
hates his step father
that steals his mom
and calls him a bother

i hate you more
than i ever could
more than i should
more than anyone would

more than I'm allowed
so it would seem
more than I'm permitted
you've made me mean

we put up with you
we're made to
forced to

have you had this feeling
have you felt this pressure

everything in this world
is a fallacy
you see...

its a joke
its a mockery
i, see...

build that bridge
over your tears
over your fears
can you see clear
so you can carry the gear
bring up the rear
this only mere

this chapter in life
should soon be over
when it is
I'll pick the clover
the lucky one
that every one wants
to keep in their pocket
everyone flaunts

did you know, i miss you?

this isnt my thing
it never has been
something has to be said
so to the paper im led...

did you know, i miss you?
did you think about that...
when you left to be different
right here's where i sat

i didnt cry, or complain
i said, that hasnt been my thing
but when i heard that song
i could hear you sing

my heart dropped, it skipped
my mind spun, it ripped
thoughts here, thoughts there
my feet, they just slipped

you almost had me
you almost did..
you almost fooled me
like some little kid

it doesnt surprise me
im use to it
people get up and leave
just leave me to sit

were you to good?
were you to cool?
if that's the case
go back to sunday school

i know who i am
i know who i'll be
i may not have you
but my god, will never leave me

Alliteration Accessed Amazingly

poem patters passing time
latte' lifts, leading the mind
music magic making it flow

i've nothing to do,
i've nowhere to go.

reading rescues, rescue me
tap tap tap, tempting me
Sweeney songs swaying through

how was that,
will that do?

crunchy cashews, creating a beat
quite questions ,quest the air
water wetting wishful lips

my back hurts,
but not my hips.

born beautifully bashful, i was
not needing numbers, needing words
existential experiments exist through me

im ready to become,
what i was meant to be.

yount.

we're bored and we're tired
brought forward, undisired

annoying, underminding
controlling, and binding

endless hours about nothing
come on guys..
give us something

teach from the heart
not from the book
teach what you see
dont give me that look

the look of dissapointment:
because we dont care
the look of defeat:
you would'nt dare

we want to learn
we really do
but what we know
you cant compare too

fresh out of college
you just got your start
but with each passing moment
you're slipping into the dark
