Seeing Without Seeing, Dreaming Without Dreams.

I hang on your every word
Without ever seeing your lips
I imagine our hugs
Though I’ve never touched your hips

You’re read my expressions
Without seeing my eyes
You’re felt every pain
Though you’ve never heard my cries

We’ve watched TV together
But never at the same time
We’ve sang together
But I can’t hear your chime

I come home, in hopes of you
You’re never really there…
I go to sleep with thoughts of you
You’re in every prayer

You tell me how special I am
I do it for you
You say you couldn’t give a damn
I have no clue

We’ve made promises
Without seeing reactions
We’ve showed true friendship
Without any actions

I make every decision
Thinking of you first
With exact precision
Of your initial burst

Though I hated words
You got me to talk
And if I hated birds
You’d convince me to buy a hawk

When I sulk, I yearn for you
I think of what you’d say
I think of your conclusion
It gets me through the day

You’ve said amazing things
I never imagined could be for me
You think I’m better than I am
That I’m being all that I can be

You, you’re proud of this
Of all the possibility
I’d never argue with that
I can see our mobility

I’m to light the lives around me
You’ve said I’m the sun
To embrace the gift I’m given
Though I feel more like a gun

I’m content for now
But pressing on
Living in the hope
That you are never gone

Life without you
Would be life without life
Nothing more, nothing less
Than unbearable strife

Searching for every smile
Though no desire for one
All the while
It’s begun…

Scared of more, but black is black
Every break down, every tear
Never holding back
The slip into sliding fear

I’d ask for death
But it would never come
Striving for the end
Until I finally succumb

Talent Shmalent.

Can you paint
And draw?
Sing and dance?
As a child
Were you given a chance?

Were you sent
To lessons
To be taught
Were you made
To be good
Or so you thought

I’m sure you
Hated it
The chance
At talent
Since it was always there

The gift
The ability
The fortuned fair

I couldn’t equate
I wasn’t forced
From talent
It seems
I’ve been divorced

Not practiced
In the ways
Not well rehearsed
Im at the bottom
Because im the worst

I cant sing
You to sleep
Or paint a picture
For your wall
I cant make
Straight A’s
I can barely
Throw a ball

If you’re looking
For someone
That can write
You a story
That can play
You songs
Or spell Miyamori

For someone
To take you
To state
For someone
To win the prize
To be your
Soul mate

Then I’m probably
Not the one
There are many
Others that
Can do what
I’ve done

I’m not going
To blow you
Away or floor you
To amaze or astound
I wont awe you
Or shock you
I’m nothing renowned

There’s one
Thing I can do
But even in time
There isn’t a
Thing that’s
Special about
A good rhyme

Thinking Words.

im the words they spoke
and you're the minds that stirred

you're what they thought
and i'm what they heard

our paths
collide
connect
distinguish one
another
protect

you make the move
i explain
you wonder why
i tell the pain

without thoughts,
words dont exist
without words
how can thoughts persist

you made me what i am
but i push you to be better
i tell the feelings
but you created the letter

we go hand in hand
we fly side by side
you are the groom
i am the bride

Ordinary Life.

there's pain in our passion
continually coinciding
hope with every ration
with the feelings you insist on hiding

ready for the great
not for the mate
to proud of your fire
scared of what you desire

the world can be barren
if you imagine it to be
love is the same
between you an me

persistent but not pertaining
indescribable they say
i could tell you every flaw
just give me a day

inevitably and intentionally
everyone falls, when anyone calls
no one can hold their tongue
they just need thicker walls

the misuse, the abouse
do you have a plan
when you're unsure
will you hold your stand

Words.

draining, the passion
as it seeps from your soul
degrading, the compassion
you find it so dull

words can mean the world, if you want them to
significance, astray, un furled, seeing if their true

like lightning, here, then gone
they're the setting sun, morning, then dawn

your wake up call
your sweet goodnight
your lunch-time break
in the bright noon light

the comforting sway
in your hips when you're happy
the sound to break the day
when you're told to make it snappy

the constant reminder
that someone cares
the forever reminder
that your heart still tears

words are the shake
in your hands when you're scared

the crack in your voice
when you're nervous, unprepared

the secret that you kept
the truth from them, you spared

words are the blindfold
leaving you impaired

they kill
they cut
they scream
they gut

they wonder
they wreak
they want
they shriek

they are scripture
they are discussion
they are intelligence
they are percussion

the addiction
you crave to hate
the curvy road
you try to make straight

the essence to create
more than that,
they are fate

history in the making
as soon as they are spoke
the potential words contain
in nothing of a joke

sticks and stone
what a malefactor
it only applies
if you're a good actor

words can pierce the strongest heart
words are like a throwing dart
words can pull us together, apart
words distract us, from the most perfect art

control our deeps thought
persuade our inner being
leave us distraught
leave us disagreeing

weather full of passion
or passion less
filled with substance
or meaning less

the largest lie
or there to confess
there to save us
or continue distress

words are reason
words are grief
words are treason
words are relief

Just Like Me.

half the fun
is to plan the plan

we leave it where we started
and pick it back up again

the wonder of why
consumes us to die

if only i could fly

have a birds eye view
one foot in your shoe

the other on familiar ground
so i can turn around

when danger calls
i count my falls

rack my head, on hollow walls

it's all cowardice
accept this

you dont share
you're to scared

that's not bravery
you're pathetic, see

you're just like me

Komputer Kid

crowded classroom
humming and shaking
tech-inclined
like a nervous student
waiting for the test results
will he pass?
toes tapping
like the clickety clackaty
of the keyboard
it is constant
he gets his paper...
marked with an A
his eyes are now transparent
you can see the joy,
that fills his world
his mother puts it on the fridge
like a newly posted blog
she wants everyone to see
they play music
and dance around
its as if they are computers
they are modern
they are advanced
they are ready
